Help!!!

Postby marion on Thu Jul 22, 2010 5:22 pm

Hi, im new here and just downloaded livebrush but i dont understand how it works.
How can i change the color of the brushes, or are they black by default and some others preset colors?
I imported a jpeg and painted with a decobrush, tried to change color which i didnt succeed in and after that no brush at all would work anymore.
This would be a great programm if there were more info about how exactly it works.....its difficult enough to try understand everything in all these nice programms there are when english is not your first language, but this is even more difficult as there is so little explanation. Videos explaining would be best, but i guess there is no hope for more explanatory videos than the 4 there are right now??

I'm there with you. Right now I'm quite confused. I can't seem to replace or change the color of the brush. I did manage to change the color of the background! One little step at a time.
I tried this:
Tool setting>line>color>fixed
click on the little box and choose a color.
On the bottom of that section of the box you will see + and - signs. Hit the plus and change that color. Looks like you can do this several time. change the Fixed area to multiple and you get a variation of color depending on what you have picked...I think

 yeah, thats as far as i got as well, bur i want to change the black color off all these beautiful things you can draw!!! Or change the colors of the stuff that have colors alreadY!!! And i would like to save them as a png or so...

But the main problem i have is that there doesnt seem to be a guide at all, so you have to try and try and try and..
that takes a lot of time and when something goes wrong after you clicked something and nothing doesnt work anymore, you cant find out what you did wrong. Pity, cause its fun to do and i would buy if i knew how to use it :?

Marion,
the tool setting instructions (boy, do I use that term loosely) does change the color of the graphics.
As for saving files, I think you have to pay for the program. I have a question in on that now to be sure. I'm more than willing to pay for it if I can get it into photoshop elements to use with my pictures.

There are help files. You can access them from the Help menu.

You can change any color of anything in all versions :)
You can do it temporarily for all styles using the toolbar. Click the color, change it. Just make sure the lock below the color on the toolbar is enabled. Then when you want to use the colors of the style individually, click the lock again.

You can save as PNG in all versions. Select the layers you want to export. And choose, FILE>Export>Export Layers To Image

Hope this helps,
David
